Vanke Meisha Academy Vanke Meisha Academy Vanke Mesa Academy, serving grades 10-12, is a new school near Shenzhen, China and the result of a collaborative project between one of China's top public high schools (Shenzhen Middle School) and one of China's largest real-estate conglomerates (Vanke Group). The school aims to focus in preparing students to succeed in the international university arena with the vast majority of students seeking to study in the United States.It is accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education and allowed to confer a Chinese high school diploma. The school will enroll approximately 400 students (250 tenth graders and 150 eleventh graders) for the Fall 2016 semester and will be seeking International Baccalaureate authorization within 5 years. The current curriculum consists of a blend of Chinese national, IGCSE (British system), and Advanced Placement courses.Located in the beach resort town of Da Mei Sha while also being only 30 minutes away from downtown Shenzhen and 60 minutes away from downtown Hong Kong, Vankey Mesa Academy offers students and teachers an amazing educational environment and experience. About the Curriculum: The school is in its fourth year and aims to prepare students to succeed in the international university arena with the vast majority of students seeking to study in the United States upon graduating. Our curriculum includes a blend of Chinese national courses, American non-honors high school courses, American honors high school courses, and Advance Placement courses in the experimental sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Within five years, Vanke Meisha Academy hopes to establish a world-class International Baccalaureate program.
